Connection Issues
This article covers problems caused by an interrupted connection between your browser and Campflow — a black screen with a technical error, a message that your last action could not be completed, or a file upload that never finishes. These interruptions happen on the way between your computer and Campflow; your data in Campflow is safe, and anything you saved before the interruption is intact.
A Black Screen With a Technical Error
Section titled “A Black Screen With a Technical Error”If the page suddenly turns into a black screen showing a technical message such as “Server HTTP response parse error,” the connection was interrupted in the middle of an action. The message comes from software along the way, not from Campflow.
What to do:
- Click anywhere on the black screen to dismiss it.
- Do a hard refresh — hold Ctrl and Shift and press R (on Mac, hold Cmd and Shift and press R). This forces your browser to open a fresh connection.
- Retry what you were doing.
If the same action fails again after a hard refresh, reach out to us through the chat bubble in the bottom-right corner of your screen.
Internet Filters
Section titled “Internet Filters”Most reports of this error come from computers that use a filtered internet service (such as Techloq). Filters route your internet traffic through their own servers, and the filter can occasionally drop its connection to Campflow mid-action. A hard refresh usually resolves it. If it happens to you regularly, let us know — Campflow is working with filter providers on a permanent fix, and your report helps.
”Your last action couldn’t be completed”
Section titled “”Your last action couldn’t be completed””This popup means the connection dropped before Campflow could confirm your action. The action may or may not have gone through, so refresh the page and check the current state before trying again. For example, if you were recording a payment, check whether the payment appears in the list before entering it a second time — this avoids duplicates.
If the popup includes a reference code, include it when contacting support. It helps us find the exact technical details of what happened.
Uploads That Do Not Finish
Section titled “Uploads That Do Not Finish”If a file upload (such as a broadcast attachment) stays stuck or fails repeatedly:
- Do a hard refresh — hold Ctrl and Shift and press R.
- Attach the file again.
If uploads fail every time on the same computer, it is usually the connection rather than the file. Try from a different computer or network to confirm, and let us know through the chat bubble.
Good to Know
Section titled “Good to Know”- A regular refresh reloads the page, but a hard refresh (Ctrl + Shift + R) also forces a fresh connection — that is what resolves these errors.
- Connection interruptions never delete or change data that was already saved.
- These errors are not caused by anything you did, and they do not indicate a problem with your account.
- If you see a black screen or connection popup often, take a screenshot and send it to us through the chat bubble — the exact wording tells us where the interruption happened.
