Setting Up Registration
Before parents can register, you need to configure your registration form — set when it opens, what text parents see, and get the link to share. All of this is done from the Registration & Application Settings page.
Getting to Registration Settings
Section titled “Getting to Registration Settings”- Click Settings in the sidebar.
- Click Registration.
This page has everything related to registration in one place. The sections covered here are the registration window, form links, and form content. For fields, documents, deposits, and notifications, see the related articles linked from the Registration Overview.
Setting the Registration Window
Section titled “Setting the Registration Window”The registration window controls when parents can access your form. Outside of these dates, parents who visit the link will see a message that registration is closed.
- In the Form Windows & Links section, find the Registration card (marked with a pink dot).
- Set the Opens date — this is the first day parents can submit the form.
- Set the Closes date — this is the last day the form will accept submissions.
If you also have Applications enabled, you’ll see a separate Application card (marked with an amber dot) where you set the application window independently.
Getting Your Registration Link
Section titled “Getting Your Registration Link”Your registration link appears in the Form Windows & Links section, below the date fields. Every camp season has a unique link.
- Find the link below the registration dates.
- Click the copy button next to the link to copy it to your clipboard.
You can also click Preview form below the link to see exactly what parents will see. The preview bypasses date restrictions, so you can test the form even before registration opens.
For more ways to share the link, see Sharing Your Registration Link.
Writing Form Content
Section titled “Writing Form Content”You can add text that appears on the registration form to welcome parents, share instructions, or provide important information. There are three text areas you can customize:
Registration Intro Text
Section titled “Registration Intro Text”This text appears at the top of the registration form, before parents start filling in their information. Use it to welcome families, share important dates, or provide instructions.
- In the Form Content section, find the Registration Intro Text editor (marked with a pink dot).
- Write your message using the formatting toolbar — you can add headings, bold text, links, images, and even embedded videos.
The editor supports rich formatting including images and video embeds from YouTube, Vimeo, and Google Drive.
Application Intro Text
Section titled “Application Intro Text”If you have applications enabled, there’s a separate editor for the text that appears on the application form. This works the same way as the registration intro text.
Payment Policy Text
Section titled “Payment Policy Text”This text appears near the payment section on both registration and application forms. Use it for payment terms, refund policies, or any financial information parents should see before paying.
- In the Form Content section, find the Payment Policy Text editor.
- Write your payment policy or terms.
Good to Know
Section titled “Good to Know”- You can use merge tags in your form text — these are placeholders like {camp_name} that automatically fill in with your camp’s information. Click the merge tag button in the editor toolbar to see available options.
- The Preview form link bypasses date restrictions, so you can always test your form regardless of the registration window.
- Changes to the registration settings take effect immediately. If registration is currently open and parents are actively filling out the form, they may need to refresh their page to see updated fields.
